Company Profile

The company De Sa Tool & Die trading as Dab Engineering, was established on the 1st of October 2000. Three investors, namely Benno Dippenaar, Jose de Sa and Paulo de Sa, bought the company from an individual that was immigrating to Australia.

 
The premises were an approximately 180 square metre workshop with a lathe, surface grinder, blocking milling machine, one spark erroder, a CNC machine and two Turret Mills. The Tool Room and Production area housed two old injection moulding machines.
                       
           
           

In March 2003 there was a change in Directorship, and Mr Benno Dippenaar was bought out by Mrs Ursula de Sa and Mr Victor Pardal. In April 2003, the company name was changed to De Sa Industries and had

           
changed to a Pty. De Sa Industries then moved to a 1400 square metre premises.
     
By the end of 2003, De Sa Industries had expanded to increase machine capacity by investing in more machines for tooling, manufacturing and production.
   
                                         
                   

Experience

Paulo de Sa and Jose de Sa started off as teenagers in a toolroom, making press tools with production of metal pressings.

     
                   
At a later stage Injection Moulds were introduced into the company, followed by injection moulding production. Jose de Sa and Paulo de Sa later bought into the company, and were members of the company for 5 years, before selling their shares and starting De Sa Tool & Die. De Sa Industries is proud to acknowledge the fact that we are experienced in Press Tool Fabrication and Design, Injection Mould Making & Design, we also do Blow Moulding die casting and general production of aluminium and steel components.
